Housing for Homeless PeopleIf you are homeless or threatened with homelessness within two months, this authority has a responsibility to provide you with housing information, advice and assistance according the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001. This provision will remain the responsibility of the Council after the transfer of housing stock to the Scottish Borders Housing Forum. The homeless officer will arrange an housing interview, which you must make sure you attend.
