Hanover logoHanover (Scotland) Housing Association Ltd

Hanover (Scotland) Housing Association Ltd provides and manages a range of specialist housing for older people, as well as for families. Within the Borders area Hanover currently manages over 270 sheltered properties. Each of their schemes, with the exception of Peebles, has a resident warden.

Hanover recognises that there is an unmet demand for sheltered and amenity housing in most areas therefore housing will be allocated on the basis of demonstrable housing need. The Association maintains an open waiting list for each development and you can apply to go on any waiting list for any of the developments. Applicants must be a minimum of 60 years of age, or if it is a joint application, one person must be aged 60 or over. Applicants should be capable of living independently with support from health and social work agencies.

More information, including stock details and rental charges can be found in the Guide to Housing Options.
