Very Sheltered Housing

Very Sheltered Housing (sometimes known as care or extra care housing) generally has all the features of sheltered housing, but offers a greater level of care and support including extra wardens, domiciliary assistance and the provision of meals.

Scottish Borders Council transferred its housing stock and landlord functions to Scottish Borders Housing Association on the 3rd March 03. However the council still has a number of housing functions.
